Letitia Smith, DC, CACCP
Dr. Letitia Smith (Dr. Tish) is originally from Newport News, Virginia. She graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. During her time as a student, she was introduced to chiropractic and sought care for herself to address the underlying cause of her low back pain. She found that being under chiropractic care had truly improved her overall quality of life.
While learning the true meaning of chiropractic, she remembers being transformed and desired to be a part of a profession that is not only wellness based, but patient centered. From there, she enrolled at Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, SC, and earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. She is happy to have made her home here in the Okaloosa area after relocating with her husband, who serves in the United States Air force.
Dr. Tish offers a variety of adjusting techniques to help restore and maintain spinal health and function. This is important because every patient requires treatment tailored to their individual needs, goals, and physical conditions. Dr. Tish believes that her patients should want to play an active role in their health journey. By committing to a healthier life for yourself, you can encourage your loved ones to follow in the same path.
Her goal is to promote a community of healthier families and to share the importance of chiropractic care for all ages. Dr. Tish is certified in the Webster Technique and has complete 200-hours of post-graduate training in family wellness, including specialty studies and clinical competence for infants, children and pregnant women and was granted Certification by the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics (CACCP) from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association(ICPA).
The reality is that many complaints are smaller pieces of a bigger problem, and that problem is a decrease in body function due to disturbances to your nervous system. Dr. Tish hopes to communicate a message of overall wellness to every person that she encounters because with a nervous system free of interference, there is no limit!
